Do USB data lines require 3C authentication?
No, USB line is data transmission cable. It is not in the scope of CCC certification product. CCC also has no standard and certification rules. The products below 36V are not in the mandatory directory of 3C.
The power supply in the USB data line only needs about 3.6V voltage in the practical application, so in the USB standard, it is the wire that specifies the rated voltage 30V of TYPE CM.
Of course, there are also a number of 2725, 20276, and other 758 specifications of wire on the market. But the rated voltage is 30V. Therefore, it is not within the scope of the mandatory authentication of CCC.
